In an effort to acquire quick wealth, many are known to have performed rituals or made sacrifices involving animals and human beings. Such people target money directly by consulting satanic priests or joining secret cults or societies. But there are some others who opt for position and power which in turn beget money. And to achieve their aim, they also seek the help of spiritualists or go into occultism. However, this trend of making quick money through the back door always ends up badly, and unfortunately, those who are determined to make it big at all costs are only mindful of the benefits that would accrue to them from those questionable sources. They often overlook the losses they would suffer. And some people are actually ignorant of the fact that those who specialize in making people rich through such dubious spiritual means operate the policy of nothing goes for nothing… which is why they never lack patronage in spite of the pains they inflict on their patrons.
A struggling young man in Warri recently had his life cut short when he decided to move to the next level by joining an occult group. He had a job but wasn’t making ends meet with his meager salary. After his initiation, the occult society gave him supernatural powers to embark on astral travels in the nights to secure whatever he wanted from the high and mighty. This involved his soul traveling to meet the soul of anyone he needed a favour from before meeting them physically to demand for the favours. During this soul travel adventure, his soul would tell the souls of his targets whatever he wanted from them, warning them that they must cooperate with him or face dire consequences. Then he would approach them in person during the day and they would gladly oblige him because the spiritual controls the natural. After concluding the matter in the spirit realm, those targets would not be able to resist him in the physical life.
With this power, the young man’s soul began to travel to some influential people to ask for favours in the nights, after which he would go to them physically in the daytime to make the same demands and they always did his bidding. In no time, he got promotions that he did not deserve. His life began to change for the better. He could now afford a car and some other necessities of life. He even got married to a pretty lady with whom he had two kids. And before long, he decided to go for a plum job in his home state in the South-south. To facilitate this, he got a highly placed government official to give him a note to the CEO of that organisation. It was a position he ordinarily did not merit. But he got it all the same. And by the time he assumed office, he had become very proud, intimidating his immediate bosses because he had the big boss in his pocket. Even the General Manager of the establishment quaked at his presence as he seemed to have the whole world under his feet.
The astral traveler was also into contracts which he got and executed to make more money. His father whom he accused of abandoning him in his childhood days would come to his office, asking to see him in a bid to identify with his success, and he would order him to be thrown out of the premises. With his high connections, he behaved recklessly in the office with no one challenging him. Eventually, he was being considered for a political appointment when a strange illness afflicted him. He was hospitalized but his condition became worse instead of improving. And he died at a young age of 45. Some of his close friends who know the secret of his success believe he might have encountered a superior spiritual power during one of his soul travels and the power afflicted him with the strange sickness. Others, however, suppose it was the handiwork of the secret society he belonged to. They think the occult group decided he had enjoyed enough of their largesse and chose to end it by taking his life, since such societies are notorious for cutting short the lives of their beneficiaries.
