Chelsea may steal 3 points at Leicester
By Laolu Olugbenga
Chelsea will travel to face a desperate Leicester City side at the King Power Stadium as they look to take another step closer to the title. The Blues will be playing their game in hand with the knowledge that they need just six points to win their fourth Premier League crown. They are on the back of a weekend goalless draw, a game that saw their arch-rivals, Arsenal, label them ‘boring’.
But Jose Mourinho subsequently replied to the chants saying ‘boring is when you go 10 years without winning a (Premier League) title. That’s really boring’. He also pointed out that his side has scored the most goals in the League this season, as well as winning the most games, showing that he is unfazed by the negative comments hurled at his team.
Chelsea are 10 points clear of their closest rivals Arsenal, meaning two wins from their remaining five games will see them through. Leicester on the other hand have been in solid form. After languishing at the bottom in the League for a long time, Nigel Pearson’s charges have won four games in a row to move out of the relegation zone. Key to their form is the rejuvenated Jamie Vardy who scored the winner against Burnley. Beating Chelsea will be a huge task, but it’s never too hard to try. Some brave ones have done it this season.
