Woman seizes hubby’s riches to save marriage
However, there are some married women, Christians and non-Christians alike, who engage in their own version of “Power Must Change Hands”. These women are married to rich womanizing spouses who make them feel insecure, forcing the women to take steps to secure their position as the men’s only wives. Such women would do anything to prevent their spouses from marrying other wives, including putting their own husbands in financial bondage.
A woman based in Ibadan decided to seize economic power from her husband when his riches began to threaten the peace of the family, dragging that family into polygamy. The couple had been married for years and blessed with four kids. The man was not rich before his marriage but over the years, he became wealthy as he recorded success in his chain of businesses. Then he began to womanise and his wife got to know about it. Like any woman would, she kicked against her man’s lifestyle but he would not listen to her. Eventually, he decided to marry one of the ladies he was involved with, one that he particularly found intriguing among them all.
His wife got wind of his plans and rushed to her people for help. She said she had suffered with the man, and now that things are rosy for them, no woman can just emerge from the blue and begin to reap where she did not sow. Her relatives then took her to a spiritualist to help her achieve her aim. The spiritualist told her that the only way her man would not marry that other lady was for him (the spiritualist) to seize his economic power and give it to her. He said that by so doing, the riches would still remain with the family but not in custody of the man, thereby depriving him of the resources to fund his favourite pastime. The woman agreed. So, the spiritualist went to work. He took the man’s riches in the spirit realm and handed them over to the woman.
From that time forward, the man’s flourishing businesses began to have problems. He struggled to keep them afloat but things went from bad to worse. Eventually, the businesses folded up one after another. And the man became broke. As expected, all the girls that swarmed around him like ants on sugar disappeared, including the one he almost married, as the man wallowed in abject poverty. On the other hand, things began to pick up for the wife. As the man’s businesses were going down, his wife’s own was expanding by leaps and bounds. No one needed a prophet to tell them that the man’s fortune was being diverted to his wife. In no time, she became an international businesswoman, traveling to Dubai and Italy to buy goods to stock her shop. And she promptly took over her man’s responsibility of fending for the family, passing down handouts to the man as pocket money to keep him alive.
Of course, the man became curious at the turn of events as economic power suddenly changed hands in his household. He became further suspicious when he asked his wife to lend him some money to revive his business and she refused, saying there was no guarantee that he would not fail again in business. She said it was better for her to be providing for the family, rather than allowing huge amounts of money to be going down the drain in the name of reviving his business.
The man decided to seek spiritual assistance and in all the places he visited, they confirmed to him that his wife was the one who snatched his economic power, but the mystery of the whole issue is that they were not able to recover his riches from the woman, as they claimed she confiscated them through a higher spiritual power.
